Although
there never is a bad time to visit Bali, there are two seasons, the Rainy
Season from October to April, and the Dry Season from May to September.
The hottest and wettest month is January and
July is the driest and coolest. The rain spreads all over the
island with the most falling in the south. We have been to Bali several
times during this season and even though the rain falls heavily at times,
it quickly clears and provides lots of sunshine for looking at the lush
green and garden scenery. The humidity is not a factor as our location
provides steady sea breezes and we do provide air conditioning. Bali's location
near the equator means even hours of day and night. When visiting the
higher mountain elevations, sweaters and light jackets are recommended.
Unlike many other areas of the tropics, there are no cyclones or typhoons.
